Here’s a pretty sweet blog on permissions by the SQL Server Security team which goes over some good stuff in the areas of Authentication Modes, Typical Scenarios, Assigning Permissions, and the Permission Hierarchy. They call it ‘basics’, but it looks like good to me, regardless of level, so check it out.  One really cool thing in this post is the killer permissions poster link, one which I have not seen before that (duh, looking at it closer, it has an Aug 25 date…yesterday), I need to study more for sure…gives an awesome view at server and database permissions.

Great job here for sure! Kudos!!!
