Here’s something I’m going to try tomorrow!  Um, well, the box isn’t “production” yet, so it might be a waste, but, anyway, check out this blog by this chap from Microsoft, who throws in a few things of his own and also references a great resource in Slava Oks on the subject of ‘max server threads’.  Pretty good stuff.

I wonder where Slava Oks is anyway these days?  He hasn’t blogged since 2007, so I’m going out on a limb to say he’s not with the SQL Server team anymore?  And while on the subject, the MSDN blog page for SQL Server is full of guys that haven’t blogged in two, three+ years.  Is anyone blogging on SQL Server anymore?
