Pankaj Mittal from Microsoft recently blogged on indexes and index maintenance, and put together a one-stop-shop for your indexing questions and best-practice.  From composite indexes, to filtered indexes, overlapping indexes, XML indexes, etc. he’s posted a page with links to all, and more.  I’ll be bookmarking this and doing some reading, so check it out!
