So it was easy to guess where to go get a first-glimpse of SSIS in the newest SQL Server version, code named “Denali”…none other than from the SSIS Junkie himself Jamie Thomson!  Actually, I was going to geek with some of this today since I’m sitting at the office doing absolutely nothing, but I found out at the last minute that you can’t install the thing on anything but Windows Server 2008 or R2, and I forgot my RAID array today.  Crud.

Current postings on Jamie’s site:

SSIS Server, Catalogs, Environments & Environment Variables in SSIS in Denali

The new Execute Package Task in SSIS in Denali

Parameters in SSIS in Denali

Introduction to SSIS Projects in Denali

SSMS in SQL Server Denali – “Insert snippet” and “Surround with”

Hey, save us some things to blog about there, buddy!

Anyway, get over and check out some of the new stuff. It’s good reading bra.

Thanks,

Lee Everest
