You might get the following error when installing reporting services using SQL Server 2008 R2.  From the event viewer>system tab:

Unable to bind to the underlying transport for 0.0.0.0:80. The IP Listen-Only list may contain a reference to an interface which may not exist on this machine.  The data field contains the error number.

I’m not sure why, locally, I can’t use TCP port 80, but simply changing this in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager “Web Service URL” to something else and you’ll be gold.
