Memorial Day Weekend 2010

Excitement abound.

Tidbits on my Memorial Day Weekend 2010...no I don't Twitter, so I'll just use this forum:

1. Sleeping on the couch - Made it through Friday night sleeping on a couch. I'm having foundation (re)work done this week; for those living in N. Texas, you know what I'm talking about.  Either your house has or will have some foundation work done at some point.  Previous owners several years ago had a company come in, but they did a crap job. So I'm getting it fixed...
2. Sleeping on the couch, part two - Made it through Saturday night, again sleeping on a couch, house still a mess.
3. Site upgrade - BlogEngine.Net Upgrade to this blog, which seemingly gets more and more difficult with each release. I do like the new version though. Captcha is great!  These idiots who spam my mailbox will have a bit more difficulty now. Bra, I'm soooo tired of the garbage in my inbox.
4. Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V cluster - Still dorking with my cluster on Hyper-V.  Having a few problems but nobody said that this was going to be easy.
5. SQLSaturday #35 - Everyone around these parts still buzzing over the great time last week, and I certainly enjoyed myself.  For the 40-50 folks who attended my class, a big thanks for the nice speaker reviews that you turned in.
6. Sunday morning - House all back in order! Carpet down, furniture in place, we're good!  Now just need to clean and dust :(
7. Upgrade - still need to install SQL Server 2008 R2 and VS 2010.
8. What's left? - For today, write a blog (need to do some more MongoDB stuff soon), maybe head over to Ft. Worth for the last day of the Colonial golf tourney, tidy the house, work out, grill. For tomorrow, go to a friends for a big backyard swim party, relax.

I hope you and yours have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend.  I'll take a few minutes to remember those who fought and died in battle for us.
