I’ll be Presenting at SQL Saturday #35 in Dallas.

Ok got word today that I’m presenting at SQL Saturday #35 2010 in Dallas on May 22, 2010. Very cool! What is a SQL Saturday event?  SQL Saturday lists on their facebook

SQL Saturday is a one day free training event for SQL Server professionals organized by local user groups. It takes a lot of work and a lot of volunteers, but it's also a lot of fun!

These get-togethers seem to be taking off big time across the country, and for good reason.  Companies are not spending the big bucks these days on training, so events such as these - basically driven by the user community and governed by some top SQL folks – make a lot of sense. It’s a great venue for those interested in either learning new skills or updating their current skill-set, and I certainly recommend them as well.

I will be presenting a “TSQL Primer”, which will be a crash course for understanding the Transact-SQL (TSQL) language. Because the sessions are short in duration, I will bring along lots of takeaways as well to help get those new to TSQL up and running quickly.  And, since the day will also have many SQL Server pros, I might throw in a few other fun things as well.  If you are interested on more info, just ping me and I’ll get right back to you.

I might add that there are some really talented folks that will be there, lots of SQL Server MVPs, and other notable speakers.  I look forward to presenting my session, and then attending some of the sessions myself!

See you then,

Lee
