Interesting observation on SQL Server

We’re losing ground… 

Jamie Thomson, a SQL Server MVP, the original “SSIS Junkie”, and sometimes visitor on this site, wrote an interesting blog entitled “The SQL Developer Gap (Warning: rant coming up)” on some of the things that he sees in SQL Server with respect to other Microsoft tools in “.Net land”, and they’re not all good. Check it out and see if you agree.  I’m 100% right there with him by the way.
