Just a handy reminder…


The new SQL Server 2008 IntelliSense is great, really nice. I like just about everything about it, except that it 1) doesn’t capitalize like Red Gate’s version, and 2) it doesn’t give you the slick DDL pop-ups (like Red Gate’s version). Unlike Red Gate, it’s free, so I can live with it. When you don’t see newly created objects, you probably need to refresh the cache. Use the following:


SQL Server – use CTL + SHIFT + R

Red Gate SQL Prompt – use CTL + SHIFT + D
